Columbia Engineering Summer High School Academic Program for Engineers (SHAPE)

Columbia Engineering SHAPE is a selective summer program for rising high school sophomores, juniors,  and seniors. The program is geared toward local students who have demonstrated an interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Each 3-week session offers college-level courses in robotics and computer science, which are complemented by electives in research skills and entrepreneurship, labs, and college preparation workshops.

Eligibility and Application

SHAPE will be available to current high school students (rising sophomores,  juniors, and seniors).  While there is no minimum GPA, students are expected to excel academically and to have demonstrated STEM interest through enrollment in advanced classes and participation in extracurricular activities.
